Our Army Divorce Solicitors understand that in many ways an army divorce is not the same as one that involves civilians. Although any divorce is inevitably stressful, any solicitor you instruct to represent you on an army divorce should understand issues around education of children in army families, service accommodation and especially army pensions. If you are thinking of divorce or separation and you are serving in HM Forces, we strongly advise that when choosing your solicitor, you pick one who doesn’t just specialize in divorce, but really understands about army divorce.

Divorce update and our Fixed Fee Divorce Service
Finally April 6th, 2022, saw a long-awaited shakeup in divorce law and procedure.
At the centre of the forms were the overdue introduction of “no blame” divorce – removing the need to prove reasons for the breakdown of your marriage, often involving blaming the other party. Other changes saw a streamlining of the process and updating outmoded legal language.
As a result our family law team now offer a £500 Fixed Fee Divorce Service (our fixed price service applies only to divorce, and doesn’t cover any legal advice on children or financial issues. It also excludes the court fee)
